This is an example of trash. PLEASE do NOT bring us trash and expect us to pick through it for you to find a few nickels. It will cost you more than its worth. We CHARGE you for this, we don't pay you. We understand the AirBnB tenants left it this way, however, it is up to you to sort through this mess not us if you want the money. Know what you put on the table BEFORE you put it on the table! We won't give it back for you to throw in our dumpster while we aren't looking. We will charge you and put it in the dumpster for you.

178 bottles of Hoist Hydration. This was not purchased in the state of Maine as it is not on the Maine Bottle Registration List. It is considered trash at our business, and the customer had to pay a $5.00 trash fee for us to dispose of them properly.
Excerpt from Maine Law
"A licensed redemption center may not refuse to accept from any consumer or dealer any empty, unbroken and reasonably clean beverage container of the kind, size and brand sold in the State as long as the label for the container is registered under section 3105, subsection 5 or refuse to pay in cash the refund value of the returned beverage container as established by section 3103."
THE BOTTOM LINE (or paragraph in this case) for refund of deposit.
1. Reasonably clean unbroken container
2. Label intact
3. Must be included in the Maine Bottle Registration List
Following the laws and rules established by the State of Maine Bottle Bill will make the process more efficient for everyone involved. We want to get you in, count your bottles, and return your deposit as quickly and efficiently as we can. Time is precious, and it shouldn't be wasted at the Bottle Redemption Center (even though we always look forward to seeing our loyal customers!).
